Crossfire

Hello dear readers, as you already know I posted a one-shot of Sylvia Day’s Reflected in You and reader Allysmum was kind enough to point out bits of info she gleaned from Sylvia’s blog regarding the holes of information that I was trying to cover. Herewith the rewritten version in the sidebar. It is much longer and is now in accordance with Sylvia’s version – or so I hope. Let me know what you think and if you’ve not read the original series please note that it contains lots of spoilers!

Sorry, the only version I can see, is the one in the sidebar which has comments from last October?
As I haven’t read the Crossfire series anyway, perhaps, I shouldn’t comment on the bits I have seen, online and in the book stores.
As to the 1 shot you did. The Nathan Barker character sounds like Jack Hydes twin – sandy hair and piggy eyes. Gideon also has his own version of, Barney Sullivan.
I can get the books in my local library. I may check one out in the New Year. It was one of my local librarians who got me hooked on, 50 Shades. I guess, so many wonder why, we put up with, the poor writing in 50 Shades? I just laugh; if I want good, erotica, I would re read, D H Lawrence before any of the current titles.
Nor do I find anything erotic about, vampires! So I am just one of the oddball readers out there. I love 50 Shades!
Perhaps, I am a little older? It has been said, that, knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
Thanks for all your, ‘wise and wonderful ‘ writing Monique. I look forward to all your posts, (when I can see them)

I’m also not a fan of vampires! LOL! The one in the side bar is the updated one but I kept the original comments from when I first posted it. Crossfire is well worth the read, for me it’s one of the very few out there that could compete with FSOG though a little jarring in places and quite graphic. I find her writing beautifully poetic. She’s done a few supernatural ones that I haven’t read and period ones but she kicked it up a notch with her writing in Crossfire. However you need to be prepared for the vast similarities between the two series, it took me a while to wrap my head around that.

Further to my comment on, Dec 18, how old are, Eva and Gideon?

I have no idea, I know that they are below 30, Sylvia has a good blog and Facebook forum that you can check out for answers like this but right now I don’t recall reading their ages in the books.

Love the updated version also. I was wondering how the blood on the shirt would have played out.

HI Di, on this very blog, if you scroll down the sidebar (LHS) you’ll find Fifty Shades Meander, then the music, then the FSOG one shots then Crossfire – Reflected in You one shot. If you have trouble finding it let me know and I’ll reply with the link. I would love to do This Man, it’s right up there for me with FSOG and Crossfire but nothing grabbed me enough to inspire a story yet. Maybe after book 3… 😉
