It’s poll time

Hello fangirls!

book j9

Seeing that our book club segment is so successful, and we all seemed to have scrambled for books to read after finishing FSOG, I thought it would be a good idea to have a poll to decide on the top 8 books (or series of books) to read once you’ve recovered from your inevitable Fifty Shades of Grey hangover. That way, new readers that haven’t been following our book club can catch up with the very best reads ASAP! You’re welcome to add books if you feel I’ve missed some significant ones (or e-mail me and I’ll add them), and to make it an accurate reflection of our opinions, I ask that you only vote once, making a maximum of 8 choices. The poll will be open for a month and I’ll repost regularly to remind you. Once the results have been tallied I’ll place a permanent widget in the sidebar listing our top 8, after FSOG reads. I’ve not done the poll thing before so please bear with me if things don’t go swimmingly from the start.

Thank you, as always, for your support! 😉

Ever since you said David Gandy… He’s been the only 50 I see.

  4. Good idea Monique! I’ve voted but it was hard as I had other stories that I also loved but I suppose Crossfire would have to be my 2nd fave. Re David Gandy as Christian Grey, oh no I just can’t see it. He looks too old to play a 28 year old. Sorry! :-/

Thank you! I’m with you, he doesn’t do much for me, I quite like the idea of him as Professor Emmerson from the Gabriel series. You’re welcome to tell me what other stories and I’ll happily add them, you can vote again!

You are right Monique about FSOG hangover I just couldn’t get enough so it’s my 3 time in a row reading it and I still find out new things but I’m so glad to have found your blog and reading the additional chapters because I just want more. Thank you for continuing the story.

Oh I’m so happy you like Jesse! FYI, as far as I’m concerned, not all the ones on the list are worth reading, that’s why we’re voting… But if you’re looking for something to read REAL is the bomb!

Hi Andrea, you’re welcome. Just so you know, not everything on the poll is worth reading, ergo the voting. I also have a book club posting on Sundays that’s very handy to keep an eye out for if you’re looking for something worthwhile to read in this genre. I agree with you about the series thing, I think after FSOG one book almost seems like a cheat! LOL! Once you’ve read book 2 in Crossfire, check out my Crossfire short story here on the blog, it fills in some blanks. 😉

Love that you did this! I’ve been selecting reads off your blog and just finished the man series … Love crazy Jesse! And loved the thoughtless series (sigh) this past time does get costly but so worth it! Never thought I’d be a romance reader but yet here we are lol
