New candidates….

We’ve searched high and low for candidates for our Christian list, an I admit that sometimes I sit here scratching my head thinking about who to feature, but not today!

Whadya’ think ladies?? 😉

Thank you for the suggestions girls! 😉

Also, just for some housekeeping purposes, there is something I’d like to discuss with you. Due to your wonderful support my blog has grown beautifully. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for your support, it’s immeasurable really. The downside of the growth is of course time, and as I love chatting to you, and getting your feedback, I refuse to cut back on my time replying to your gracious responses. That only leaves me my time blogging the daily posts. In an effort to save time, and my personal sanity, I would like to cut back on my daily posts. These are just the fun, and sometimes frivolous posts, I post every day, like the one above. This will not influence the once a week posting of Meander. I will also retain the book club and the Wednesday teaser, and if something big happens in our FSOG world, I’ll almost certainly post it at random. I know you’ll understand, I’m tying myself in knots to keep up and feel bad failing.

Monique xx

I like the top one, Richard Armitage he does look a bit of alright to me. No problems about the daily posts Monique, we do realise how busy you must be and appreciate the writing/work you do for us. There does come a time when you cannot burn the candle at both ends, so take care, take it easier on yourself – and thank you.

Oh happy day, Monique to find Richard Armitage in my inbox! He has been my fantasy Dom since long before FSOG. I’m one of those mothers (and there are many of us) who watched Robin Hood on Saturday evenings with their kids, not for the drama but in order to sigh over Richard smouldering in black leather as the villain. I know many people will say he’s too old but who cares?

O,Monique, don’t feel bad! You just spoiled us by posting something every day. As long as you keep on writing it is okay with me. As for the new candidates…….mmmmm, no, nice but no Christian! Perhaps Beto would do as Gideon. I do hope they hurry with the filmthing! The script must be ready sometime soon! The poor man who is going to play Christian will have a totally different live from now on. Let’s hope he is single! Lol! Xxxx Janien

nooo anpother book group I am on are Richard Armitage have been pushing for him for another role and – no comment – I reserve my comment – 😦 grumpy!
Still see Matt Bomer ( or after seeing True Blood last night Eric Skarsgaard altho would think of him as in TB ) in the role guess cos there are so many trailers out there with he and Alex B in them .

As for cutting back you need to be able to have a balance in your life and as much as we love interacting with you on FB blogs etc know it must be hard and to also take the time and inspiration with your story which is SO GOOD must be tiring !. We would hate for you to have burn out you are too precious (lol) “`

Hi Monique, As much as I can’t wait for your weekly chapters (will you still be doing these????), you have to commit time to do your own thing otherwise you will be chained to the mean machine always!! I hope you find your balance! 🙂 I don’t think any of the gorgeous hunks pictured look like ‘Christian’ (my vote is still for ‘Matt Bomer’) but definitely Beto would be my pick for ‘Gideon’. Looking forward to the next chapter. Please take care of yourself. Loads of love xx

Hi Fiona, yes, as long as I can manage I would like to continue the weekly updates of the story, it’s just the smaller daily posts that I will cut back on. I’m with you, Beto would make a good GC.

Did you see my posts on the fb group about aaron O’connell? He’s my new favourite. Not sure if you’ve presented him as a candidate yet? He’s not only incredibly good looking , but he also plays piano and sings, so he’s perfect for the roll as Christian!

Monique, I think it’s going to be a mind movie not a film at this point…
Time management? Lady you are your own worst enemy! Your passion in all things FSOG and literature would have to catch up to you eventually. We love you and all you have shared with us but the key word here is YOU! Do what you need to do! We’ll take you any way we can get you!!! Love you! Liz

Monique, please don’t feel bad. I really don’t know how you manage to do half of what you do. Hope the course went well last week. Knowing you I’m sure you’re going to make up for your absence with a humdinger of an instalment this weekend. Lots of love, Sue x x

Totally get it….I always wondered how you have time to post so often as I find it hard sometimes to post simple comments. I don’t care how often you post chapters, weekly?…bi weekly?…as long as they keeping coming…;) I love the teasers too, but would be satisfied with chapters. I hope the book club stays…I have found some of my favorite stories there. I find I connect with you and your fans (on good reads) more than I do with my own friends…lol! Many of them have become top shelf rereads. Btw, since yesterday’s book club, I read Leave Me Breathless. Loved it!!! I hope Cherrie Lynn continues their story.

just to clarify, by bi-weekly, I am referring to every other week, not twice a week…lol after I typed it I forgot what the hell bi-weekly meant! ha ha…I’m not that greedy 😉 I appreciate that you write for us and I’ll take it any way you give it to us 🙂

Hey Monique, I’ve always wondered how you could post and write so often. I haven’t even been able to read the last two chapters of Meander (shame on me – but sometimes life just sucks… I promise to do better, though !)
By the way, the German WWW and a few English site have announced that Alex Pettyfer is confirmed to be Christian. I don’t know how true this information is but I think they could find someone better.
