Between the covers book club

Hello lovely ladies!

I hope you all had a beautiful, blessed Christmas and enjoyed some down time with your loved ones. Thank you for all your well wishes, for the move and for Christmas!

I’m still in between homes right now, wishing I could speed things long, and settle into my routine again.

I’m currently reading:

take me on

Take Me On by Cherrie Lynn. I’m not done reading it but, so far, so good. True to Cherrie’s exceptional form!

I would also like to wish you a happy new year 😉

I love you all!

Please party safely!

Check out this great plan… 😉

Happy reading ladies!

Hello lovely ladies.

I hope you are enjoying your Christmas eve!

Just a quick update for you regarding my plans. We will be moving into our new home on the 2nd of January. I don’t want to bind myself to something and then have you be disappointed in me so, for now, I’m going to hazard a guess and say that my next update will be around the middle of January – I HOPE! Who knows how things will pan out and how soon I will find work again? As always, I’m grateful for your kind understanding and patience!

For those of you in the Northern hemisphere, this is tropical Santa, and he said to say hi! 😉

it disk1Also, Paula has ensured a lovely Christmas treat for the Italian readers with the translation of Valentine’s Meander!

I hope you enjoy!

Hugs to you all.

Please be safe.

Monique 😉

Merry Christmas

Dear readers,

Thank you so very much for your continued support, your kind words, your constructive help, and your never ending patience with my crazy year! I so appreciate every one of you, and love that there are readers on this blog that’s been with me from the very tentative start of this wild ride.

I would especially like to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you to my wordsmithing editor who does so much more than I can keep up with. Thank you, Susan for your tireless research! I so wish I could devote more time to posting the wonderful changes that you’ve made to the chapters that’s been under your steady, literary hands. Thank you for the quick e mail help, sometimes late at night. Thank you for cleaning up the garb I write in the early morning hours of my night. You’ve made my writing life so much easier, and you’ve been a great friend!

Thank you to Paola Donati for the Italian translation of Meander. You’ve worked so hard this year, getting up to speed with me. I feel you nipping at my heels!

To Vivi and the Super Hot Translators for all the work you do translating Meander into Portuguese, a hearty thank you for all your efforts.

Then to Kereny. You’ve been a star translating Meander into Spanish for the very eager Spanish readers, and often despite your own hectic schedule.

All these translators do their translating work entirely as a love job for FSOG and for Meander so it touches me deeply that they give up their own time for my story.

I would also like to thank my long suffering hubby and my precious little daughter who gives me the time and space to write. Without their support, I would never have been able to dedicate so much time to this blog.

I wish you all a blessed Christmas. I hope you can take a moment to reflect on your year, and look back onto it with a sense of peace. May your time spent with loved ones be filled with joy, may your travels be safe, and I pray that love will root deeply in your hearts.

Have a merry, blessed Christmas!

With love – Monique

Between the covers book club

Hello all you lovely ladies.

Lo and behold, the book club post is a day early, but it’s only because I know that I’ll be too exhausted to do it tomorrow,  after we’ve cleaned our home post upliftment!

This week I read:

Breathe Me In by Cherrie Lynn. I love this author.  This novella was true to her sexy romantic style, and as always, a real pleasure.

On my shelf I have:

take me on

Take Me On by Cherrie Lynn. This is a full length book, part of the Ross series, but you don’t have to read them in order.

sp button1 Thanks to Kereny, I’ve updated the Spanish version of Meander with the 10th chapter.

See? Wine is therapy! LOL!

I hope you have a great reading week, ladies! Remember to share your literary treasures with us!

Happy reading!

Between the covers book club and chapter 62

Hello ladies,

Excuse the late post and the very foggy brain. It’s been  long night! Please find chapter 62 in the sidebar, unedited, so please bear with me 😉 I’ll pretty it up when I feel more awake!

This week, still on my shelf  I have:

Breathe Me In by Cherrie Lynn. I thought I might have time to get to it, in fact I was sure that I would breathe in this short read, but I didn’t even get to reading these last seven days!  I’m still looking forward to a bit of Cherrie though, I so love her work!

My mom sent me this in the week. I thought it was very appropriate considering the importance of exercise 🙂

I hope you have a beautiful week, blessed with great holiday reads that you can rave about with us!

Happy reading!

News and more…

Hello lovely ladies,

I’m back from Brisbane, or Brisvegas, as we like to call it here. All went well, and I’m now the proud owner of a plan! We’ll be flying down shortly after Christmas and moving very early on in the new year. Hopefully I’ll be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel after the 6th of January….

In the mean time, to answer your pressing question, I should be ready with a new chapter around this weekend some time… YAY!

it disk1 For the Italian readers, I’ve posted chapter 61 – Thank you Paola 😉

Kereny has asked I mention that she’s had a personal issue to deal with, and will be back translating as soon as she’s able 😉

On the movie front:

Callum Keith Rennie is to play Ray Steele

Have a great weekend ladies! Stay warm, for those of you in the Northern hemisphere 😉

Between the covers book club and news…

Hello lovely ladies.

I’m sorry to say that I did not manage to finish my chapter for this weekend. My week was just… well, CRAZY! I know that you’re disappointed but I also trust that you understand.

Team 50 is on fire and the cast for the elusive movie of your favourite book is coming along very quickly now:

Dylan Neal to play Bob

Marcia Gay Harden to play Grace

Rita Ora to play Mia

Max Martini to play Taylor

Eloise Mumford to play Kate

This week I read:

Gabriel’s Redemption by Sylvain Reynard. I have not finished, even my reading took  back seat this week. This is book three in the Gabriel series, and on par with the other two, though I’m still not entirely convinced. I like them, but I don’t LOVE them, and I have a really hard time picturing the male lead.

On my shelf I have:

Breathe Me In by Cherrie Lynn. I’m looking forward to this one, Ghost and Macy, but a short story prequel.

it disk1 Thanks to Paula, I’ve just posted chapter 60 in the Italian translation…

We’ve had LEGO inspired FSOG, but look what Barbie is up to… LOL!

Barbie FSOG

I hope you have a beautiful week, ladies!

Happy reading!
