Between the covers book club

Good evening, lovely ladies!

I hope this post finds you well and enjoying the rest of the weekend.

Thank you for all your comments about the last chapter. Boy, was I muddying through that one!? Seems I lost my writing feet through the move. It took a helluva’ effort to get back into it, so let’s hope that I’ll manage to say focussed.

This week I read:

mine  Remy

Mine and Remy by Katie Evans. Sometimes, like when you crave comfort food, it’s nice to return to an old favourite, drawing that comfort from the pages that you loved so much. They are book two and three in the Ripped, Raw and Real series. The first book was called Real, and if it was possible, my e-book version of that one would be dog-eared! 😉

Thanks to Paola and Kereny I’ve updated both the Italian and the Spanish versions of Meander – enjoy ladies! 😀

I hope you have a beautiful week and please don’t forget to share your reading treasures with us!

Happy week, ladies!

Monique xx

Hi Monique!! Glad you got your move over and you are getting settled. What a load off. This week I read What Would Oprah do…it’s not in the genre we normally read obviousally…but it is a cute story. I also really liked Mine but I had trouble with Remy. He sounded like such a baffoon to me…I just couldn’t wrap my head around it. I never did finish it….should I? Was it worth it to you? I’ve noticed we tend to like the same books frequently. I’ve been looking for a new series…thinking of trying Ethan Blackstone books. Have you read them? Are they worth getting? I just reread Bared To You trilogy…think I enjoyed it even more the second time around.

I must admit that book one of Remy was by far the best, and I agree with you, in book three he did come off a bit ape-like, but I still love the story and still enjoyed it 😉 I enjoyed the Blackstone Affair. Not quite FSOG, but still a good read. Buy just the first if you;re unsure. Of course, I LOVE me some Gideon and Eva! Have you read anything by Cherrie Lynn? Not the supernatural stuff , but her regular books?

I just reread mine earlier this week too! Also plowed through a new one Changing his Game by Justine Elvira. Quick read w the main character being a porn star so you can imagine the fun in that book ;). Great story w excellent epilogue ending!
