And more still….

Ug! I feel like I am crawling out of my own skin. Never before have I been more invested in a movie. It’s crazy. Who knew that I would follow this whole thing so closely? I’m beginning to question my sanity… 😛

Then this delicious tidbit from Musikstarr; another blend of all the trailers… Yay!

Thank goodness for that, Sharon! 😉 I’m so glad to have you guys to share this whole thing with. I remember when I first started reading the books and I had NO ONE to discuss it with, no one to gush to about the awesomeness of FSOG. It was crazy! Eventually I MADE a girlfriend of mine read it even though she’s not a reader. LOL!

I just ordered the OPI fifty shades of grey nail polish set from ebay. I want to do my nails in assorted shades for the movie. Nope….no obsession here!

Oh Monique…I am right there with you. After reading the books 9 times and three different fan fics (yours is my absolute favorite…BTW) I’d say my sanity left months ago!!! I have the of the OPI nail polish colors, because I had to have them even if I never wear them…and on and on. You make this obsession easier to take and thank you for assuring us that we’re not alone in our insanity. LOL

If I had Christian’s money, I’d send my jet around to pick you all up so that we could watch the film together. At least we have Monique’s blog to share the experience together! Thank you, Monique.

I feel like my kids when they were waiting for Harry Potter or the Hunger Games to come out! Getting so excited. I just know there will be haters which is disappointing but I want to see my Christian be a success because I NEED a second movie!

Holy crap… Soon we will almost have the whole movie in clips… 🙂
Came onto my facebook and saw this article about women’s journal discussing how FSOG has increased abusive relationships? Whatcha think ladies?
Mad me “see red” pardon the color… Give me a break. This book is so not about abuse. Its about complete surrender with a partner that “places you above all else” … Does that sound abusive? Well I guess if you don’t like being the center of someone’s world, the reason for a love deeper than all others… Yeah I guess that is abusive!!
God people make me sick… Really. The abusive people were and are already out there now they are just using this to justify their behavior and they certainly did not READ this trilogy nor do they understand its meaning… Uggg…

I agree with you. I was at the supermarket checkout today, a lady in front was spouting her mouth to the assistant about the movie and how it was about domestic abuse! The shop assistant was young and seemed quite intimidated by the customer when I stuck my nose into their conversation lol, I asked her if she’d read the books and surprise she hadn’t!! I was raging and probably a wee tiny bit rude when I told her that until she read the books she wasn’t entitled to an opinion! the hubby was mortified 😀

No freakin’ way! I cannot see that ANYONE is linking it to abuse. The context is so vastly different unless the guys suck at being Dominants! LOL! I call “lame sensationalism” BS! Well said, girlfriend! 😉

Oh Girls I am so obsessed to!!!! My husband is reaping all the rewards. Been married 42 years. He says wish I had these books and fanfiction 20 years ago. HA HA. Movie here in the USA comes out on Feb 13. I have advanced tickets for a early showing. I am over the moon. Sure wish Monique would write some more chapters. Getting ready to start my reread of Monique’s fanfiction. Love her writing!

Can I say I’m a bit depressed about finishing my first read of Monique’s FSOG. I always get so sad at the end of a book or fanfiction. I am so ready for the movie.. Taking a box of kleenes for the movie. Bet I cry!

Yes, I also always feel a little unsettled and empty after I finish something I loved to read. And double yes for the kleenex at the movie! The ending of the first book is so sad…

It’s intense and insane and I love it. I know it will end in a cliff hanger and I know I won’t want to leave the theater that night for wanting more! I keep telling men to read the series. It touches so many issues in so many levels. Ugh, I know what you mean by obsessed:)
