FSD official poster

Hello again, lovely ladies

As we wait – not so patiently – for the actual, official trailer, I thought I’d share the official poster…

Though I’ve been thrilled with the movie footage we’ve seen so far, I’m not sure how I feel about the poster. I LOVE the mask, and it’s certainly pretty, but the image is so heavily airbrushed it has an otherworldly feel, almost like it’s meant for a fantasy film, one featuring an ethereal Elfin beauty. On the other hand, I like the darker feel, the way it hints at what we know is to come. What are your thoughts, girls?

Disappointed with the trailer. Michelle Pfeiffer was in the trailer but I did not think she was in the movie???

Hi Stephanie. I’m not sure which trailer you saw, but the official one is not out yet, and you’re right. Michelle Pfeiffer is not in the movie. The Universal Pictures one is being released in the US tonight. However, I have seen a fan made trailer with Michelle Pfeiffer. It was good, but certainly didn’t come close to being a professional clip. Sometimes the fan made trailers are called “official” but that’s very misleading. I’m not exactly sure how they get away with that, but it happens. I will be posting the official trailer when I can get my excited little paws on it. Watch this space… 😉

The mask is OK, but that doesn’t even look like Dakota which, I guess, means the mask works!

Beautiful mask…bet there will be a lot of them for sale and purchased prior to the movie! We’ll all be wearing masks going to the movies!! Poster is OK but not overwhelming, I would have liked it better if he was wearing his mask too and looking darker and dangerouser! (making up words again.)

Hi Monique, love your 50 shades story line. Haven’t finished quite yet! Can’t wait for the movie in February..I didn’t know what the fuss was all about only since around April the movie was on HBO after that I ordered the books..

Hello Christine. Thank you very much for taking the time to give me some feedback. It always surprises me when folks go to the books after the movie. I’m not sure I would have after the first movie, but like you, I’m stoked about the new directorship and what that will mean for our fav series. Happy reading! 😉

Hi Lovelies: I agree with Sharon actually. The poster is “too bright” in comparison to the tagline…something a shade darker! So he should definitely have his mask on but she is too… Not sure what!! Just think it should be shadowed or have gim with a more intense face. It would be nice to have the mask though. 😎
