Between the covers book club

Hello there, lovely ladies đŸ€—

Our weekend saw a lovely storm. I adore a good rain shower and how fresh it leaves everything afterwards. ❀

And speaking of our neck of the woods, we now have a naked garden service! Yes, ladies, if you have a garden, this bloke will tend it in the buff. I’m not sure if he’ll take care your lady garden too, but multiple services seems to be the current trend… 😉

Check out this link on the Australian News site for more details of birthday suit gardening. Personally, I don’t believe that butt has EVER seen a ray of sunshine, but what do I know? 😂😂

Then, Lissa shared this, The Incredibles take on Fifty Shades of Grey…

😂 I thought these were well and truly done, but I guess there’s no end to people’s creativity. Do you think other books get the same treatment? đŸ€”

This week I read:

Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon, book 4 in the Outlander series, was fabulous, as you can see. I especially delighted in the family reunion. Say what you want about this author, but she’s got miles and miles of story to tell. It’s simply incredible considering the length of these books and how fresh every saga is. Hats off to her!

Bulldozer by P. Dangelico, book 3 in the Hard to Love series, I’m giving a reluctant 4 stars. It’s not that I didn’t enjoy this tale, I ALWAYS enjoy the taming of a grumpy guy, but this one was quite similar to the first book in the series. This surprised me. She is a strong and creative writer, so I’m not sure why she went with a previously trod path.

Currently I’m reading:

The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon, book 5 in the Outlander series.

On my shelf I have:

Southern Charmer by Jessica Peterson, book 1 in the Charleston Heat series.

I’ll close with this meme since adult colouring in seems to be the new yoga…

Cute, huh? 😉😂

Have a fantastic weekend, girls. I hope you have an epic reading week.

Loved all the goodies in your post, Monique!! How did you know I was in desperate need of a gardener? Think he would mind travelling over to the USA to service us? And I totally agree with you – that boy hasn’t been working outside in the buff very long!! He should have done a spray tan before the media blitz! Nice tush either way.
And the Incredibles fifty was well done! Before I clicked on it, I was searching my brain to figure out what they were going to use. What a big bad boy!!
My week – I finished Picture Perfect Cowboy by Tiffany Reisz. LOVED it. I adored a special part of the ending, which I won’t spoil for anyone else planning to read….but who wouldn’t love this guy?
AND I’m in the middle of the Men at Work series – currently in the middle of A Naughty Holiday by Tiffany Reisz. Very fun reading….don’t know why it took me so long to climb on board.
Otherwise….I have several re-reads in gear – including Domination by CD Reiss – which I loved. I have a recent book sale that included a new story short about Monica & Jonathan….so I thought the LEAST I could do is suffer through a revisit of the series before enjoying the new story. I’m thoughtful that way.

Hey Sharon đŸ€— Yes, my ESP was in excellent working order! Glad I could help! 😉 And yes, I think a bit of skin blending would have been a great idea for his debut article! 😂😂
Delighted that you fell into the joys of Md Reisz and her delicious cowboy. He was fun, wasn’t he? 😋😋 And the holiday books are a lovely distraction from this super busy time of year. Enjoy, girlfriend 😉 Oohh, and another whirl with the evergreen Ms Reiss? What fun! You can’t go wrong. Happy reading, lovely đŸ€—

    Hi ladies,
Well the gardener has a nice ass but did any of you notice you couldn’t see and balls or cock. I prefer low hanging balls and a view of a swinging cock. Really think I would have to keep interviewing for a gardener. Ha Ha.
