I am going to read chapter 21 this weekend and that may inspire the right song once I know where we are in their story. I will send some thoughts after.

I love Yellow and the VSP version as well, but hands down, my favorite is Somebody by Depeche Mode. I also think it fits really well w/ the dynamic b/w Christian and Ana.

Since Christian loves classical music, the orchestral version of “yellow” by Coldplay would be very fitting. However, I personally love “Here and Now” by Luther Vandross it is so romantic because of the promise their making to each other on their wedding day.

Christian has very eclectic and educated taste in music – everything from Tudor-period motets (who could EVER forget Thomas Tallis and the Red Room of Pain?) to Frank Sinatra; from Bach to Bruce Springsteen, so I don’t think you need to limit your imagination to contemporary songs if you are looking for something definitive. Here are just a few to consider: ‘All I Ask of You’ from Phantom of the Opera; John Denver’s ‘Annie’s Song’; ‘One Hand, One Heart’ by Leonard Bernstein; Adele’s cover of the Bob Dylan song ‘Make you feel my love’ is also wonderful (Hey maybe Christian could have Adele sing at the wedding? Swoonsplosion!!!)
