Between the covers book club and Romanian chapter

Hello, lovely ladies,

I don’t know about you, but with Christmas approaching life is fairly hectic at the moment. Not that it’s a bad thing, it’s just busy. I look forward to spending the day with family, friends and wine. Yay! 😉

With that, I’d like to wish you all a beautiful, blessed Christmas. Enjoy every moment you have with your loved ones. Eat, drink and be merry because life is too short!  For 2016 I pray for peace across every nation of this beautiful earth of ours and for every race, colour and creed. May it be a prosperous year for you, filled with love and all the good things life has to offer. Again, thank you for your continued support; as readers as well as friends.

We all know the famous fireman’s calendar, and I’m sure many countries have their own version, but it seems that the French have taken the concept to a whole new titillating level. I bet you it’ll be no hardship to click this BrightSide link to see these stunning images, AND it’s for a good cause. It’ll make a great Chrissy pressie, don’t you think? 😉

Also, it’s my pleasure to let any Romanian readers know that Paula has translated the next chapter of Meander. Please find it in the sidebar for your enjoyment.

This week I read:

wmf

Watch Me Fall by Cherrie Lynn, book five in the Ross Siblings series, was good. Usually I love this author, and I adore her books, but this one didn’t blow me away. It was nothing specific, it just didn’t curl my toes. A solid three stars from me.

On my shelf I have:

download

Lawless by T.M Frazier, book three in the King series.

Christmas1

I won’t see you guys next week, my next BOOK CLUB post will only be on the 3rd of January (early morning, my time), but I’m around, so please feel free to pop in and say hi. If you happen to read anything spectacular, please share!

Lol I’ve just discovered that I forgot to mention the book I read my head was full of sexy men!
Last week I read The Stocking was Hung by Tara Sivec it was laugh out loud funny at times but I wouldn’t recommend it 3 days after meeting the main characters were declaring their undying love!! not for me.
I also wanted to know if you’ve finished Priest? I bought it for my older sister who refused to finish it rang me shouting that it was blasphemous and how she’d a good mind to tell my mum ……… bit if an overreaction I thought considering I’m 46 and she’s 48 lol.
I think I’m officially in a book slump again need a good series to snuggle up with. Good reports on here about Tiffany R but I tried one of her books a long time ago and didn’t like it at all so I’m not interested in her.

Oh no! How could you forget?? LOL! What??? She was going to tell on you?? Too funny! How old is your mum?? LOL! I’m sharing your book slump, Katherine. It’s horrible. I’m trying to read Lawless ATM, but it’s so violent and graphic, I just can’t stomach it right now. I abandoned Priest shortly after my review from last week. I feel the same as I did then: I can see the book has merit, the writing was good, the sex was hot, but I felt deeply offended by the content. Usually I can read around a lot of stuff but when it comes to religion I guess I’m pretty sensitive. Oh well, back to trolling Goodreads…. 😉

My mum is 70 but I know she would be highly offended with the religion aspect of Priest I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters and when any of us get into an argument about anything no matter how trivial we all revert back to teenagers and you can bet your life someone will say “I’m telling me ma” 😁 I think it was The Angel I didn’t like it at all I also bought The Siren and The Prince but didn’t try them and deleted them from my kindle

Whahaha! That’s fantastic, Katherine! And when they do “tell ma”, what happens? Do you get grounded??
With Reisz’s books, you DEFINITELY have to read them in order, at least the main books, because there are so many intricacies that’ll just go over your head if you don’t. Also, the span and depth of the story only becomes apparent after a few books, but I can understand that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. For me though, THE MOST epic tale I have ever had the pleasure to get lost in.

Perfect Santa. Light dusting of hair…just the way it should be! And those firemen…such hot stuff!!! Glad my hubs doesn’t mind my admiration of their qualities!! Such fine art must be appreciated!!
I’ve not done much reading this week, but anticipate a lot of time to read next week. I will be out of town all next week at Mayo Clinic, and my MIL will be having her brain tumor removed on the 23rd. Beam positive energy our way if you think of us. Different kind of Christmas, hopefully a good one.
Merry Christmas to all!! Look forward to our book shares in 2016!!

    Hi ladies
    Sharon,
I wanted to thank you for informing me about the free to read stories on Tiffany Reiz home page. They are wonderful and add a bit more back ground info. I also saw where she was talking about “The Queen” and hoped everyone enjoyed it as it was the last in the series FOR NOW. So we can hope we will see more of Nora, Soren and Kingsley in the future.
I’m reading “The Queen” but dragging my heals as I don’t want the story to end.
I have been filling my nights with fanfiction, BDSM library, and literotic.com. Some damn good stories that will get you motor running.

Christmas is keeping me busy so not as much time to read. The issue with my son took a whole new twist today. We got back some lab test that were taken last week that showes he has pertussis (whooping cough). He has had a cough for a couple of months, but everyone was so worred about his blood issue and diabetes no one payed much attention to the cough. Our regular family doctor caught it. He was close to needing blood this week but right not he is holding his own. Hoping for 2016 to be a better year.
For those of you in a reading slump if you are in to BDSM and/or multi partner and haven’t read Masters of Shadowland series or Club Destiny series I recommend them. Good love stories in each book with some hot down right dirty sex. Some of the books will make you need to change your panties.
Each of you wonderful ladies have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Hopefully this will be the last of it now and your family can look forward to a happy, HEALTHY, sexy 2016! Thank you for all your great shares through the year, many despite some tough circumstances.
