Fifty Shades of Grey and More

I'm a writer with a deep love for all things romantic... Currently I'm working on the popular Fifty Shades Meander as posted on FanFiction (where I write as Mobabe) and my blog which is based on E L James' Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy. Fifty Shades Meander cuts into Fifty Shades Freed where Ana finds out that she's pregnant. Don't worry, strictly happy endings here with all your favourite characters of the book... I also write fan fiction on Sylvia Day's Crossfire series, and am working on an original story. I don't own anything of the original books and I don't stand to make any profit from using the characters from Fifty Shades of Grey or Crossfire, however the stories on here are my own creations as well as any new characters therein, and is therefore subject to copyright. Lemons: These refer to the sex scenes in books. I used to think it was because of the expression you make when you taste a lemon. When the sour tang hits your mouth, you suck in a breath, and your eyes scrunch up… Turns out I was wrong. Apparently it originated in the Anime genre, but is now loosely used to describe all written sex scenes. Book lovin' is another term that refers to bedroom antics.
HEA: Happy ever after
Cliffie: A cliffhanger: when a story ends on a dramatic point, leaving the reader wondering, hanging.
RIO: Reading induced oblivion: A time where the world can pass you by - work, husband, kids, whatever, and you're too caught up in a book to care or notice.
BoB: Best of the best: The highest accolade for a book I've read, my absolute best, 5 star rating, favorite of favorites.

Susan, the grammar fairy

Monique frequently refers to me as her Grammar Fairy. In truth, I feel more like the Punctuation Police, but I'll answer to either title. I am one of those truly annoying people for whom writing errors jump off the page as if they'd been set down in pink neon.

Monique is endeavoring to make me less irritating by asking me to harness this blessing/curse and use it for good, not evil, as the editor of Meander. To say that I am honored by her request is an understatement.

I almost passed up the opportunity to read Meander when I saw that it began with the premise of Ana leaving Christian, but something drew me back to the story, and I was hooked. Like her other readers, I love the gift that Monique has for conveying the emotion behind the action. Editing the chapters is time-consuming, and involves a lot of back-and-forth with Monique. Her kindness and sense of humor make it a pleasure to work with her.

The results of our collaboration might not be immediately obvious, and it's going to take us a while to work through the whole story, but we'll get there. I view it as my job to polish the story and make it as close to technically perfect as I can get it, while changing Monique's wonderful words as little as possible - Susan
