Between the covers book club

Hello, lovely ladies 🙂

I had a great reading week thanks to Katherine. Hopefully you also indulged in some sweet reads!

BC

This week I read:

t  hw

Tied by Emma Chase, book four in the Tangled series, was AWESOME! Funny and sexy. I love this series and if you’ve not had the pleasure I suggest you cuddle up with a copy and give Drew a go 😉

Hardwired by Meredeth Wild, book one in the Hacker series, was another great read. If you’re yearning for more of FSOG and Crossfire this is one for you. Blake is as overbearing and jealous as CG will ever be – just the way we like ’em 🙂

Currently I’m reading:

hp

Hardpressed by Meredith Wild, book two in the Hacker series. I enjoyed the first so I will be finishing the series.

On my shelf I have:

hl

Hardline by Meredith Wild, book three in the Hacker series.

Then, I wanted to share a serious FOSG fan… Check out this site for much more on the filming:

50 Shades Girl Portland

This is so funny! Do you think he’s had enough to drink?? LOL! 😉

I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and let us know if you find anything fantastic to share 😉

I loved Tied! I loved the whole story! I’m reading Hudson from the Fixed trilogy. And also read the Innocence trilogy by Alessandra Torre, it has to be in the most read list!

So easy to visualize the guy smooching on a mask at a party. So funny!
I received some facebook video to the FSOG sequel already in production. Surprised me, I hadn’t heard anything else about it, did any of you?
I read Stay With Me, 4th book of the series by J. Lynn. I liked it, And I like the series….but the first book was the only one I loved. Stay With Me felt like she was channeling Kristen Ashley and setting up for a similar series of books. So I understand following success, but I liked what she was already doing. Anyway, worth reading but I wouldn’t rush.
Also read Mr. Beautiful. If you loved Up in the Air series, and enjoyed Bianca, James and Stephan….Then you will want to read. I was really pumped about the book…then read some disappointed reviews, which made me not so pumped. Which in my twisted, warped way was good, because it was better than my lowered expectations expected. (Did that make sense to anyone other than me?). I totally love Stephan as a BFF, and was happy to spend some time with him again. The book is made up of different sequences and POV’s, some related some not. A lot of the shorts were already available on various sites, and it was kind of like she gathered everything together to make a book. So it wasn’t great, but I still enjoyed it. A bit pricey for it to be so many bits and pieces.

No, Sharon, I’ve not heard about the second movie shooting yet but I would imagine that they would start sooner rather than later. I love J Lynn. She’s consistently good, I think. Don’t you just love finding an unexpected good read? Thank you for the great share, Sharon 😉

I’ve read since last week that they are reshooting some of the scenes from the first movie as they wanted them to be “hotter”. Works for me, so that may be what the filming is all about, and is more likely. I think there would be more hoopla if they had started on movie #2.

I too read Mr. Beautiful. I really liked it. I didn’t understand all of the choppiness that came after the epilogue. It was all kinds of POV’S that I almost didn’t read because I didn’t know they were there. I loved the Up in the Air series so it was fun to read James, Stephen’s and Tristan’s take on it all in Mr. Beautiful. I just started Black Lies and am liking it so far. On my bookshelf…Tied.
