Between the covers book club

Hello there, lovely ladies đŸ€—

How was your week? Mine was good, but I’m a little sad to see the end of our school hollies. It was glorious to take a break.

I learnt something new this week. It seems that I didn’t know how to apply perfume correctly. Here’s designer Jean Paul Gaultier’s JeanPod to show us the CORRECT way to enjoy your favorite scent…

You have to admit, that’s pretty helpful. You’re welcome! 😉😉

I also saw this; 5 facts that’ll make you feel better about your “one-click” addiction! Well, perhaps not number 4, but who knows? A Kindle in your pocket could potentially stop a bullet, right? đŸ€”

😂

This week I read:

One Small Thing by Erin Watt was a cute read, and though I enjoyed it, it’s definitely more of a teen story. But I do wonder why she’s cut the nooky from her books. In The Royals series’ first 2 books we saw the teens getting it on, but since then everything happens behind closed doors. Strange. You’d think that she (actually they: Elle Kennedy and Jen Frederick) would continue in the same vein as they started.

The Tangled series (Tangled, Holy Frigging Matrimony, Twisted, Tamed and Tied) by Emma Chase was a reread from my favorites list and was just as fantastic as the first time around. If you’ve not yet met Drew, his glib mouth, and tamed playboy ways I strongly suggest you indulge in this fabulous range. It has a little bit of everything: laughs, tears, hot moments, some interesting relationship advice and heart warming love. It’s also refreshing that the majority of the story is written from the male’s POV. đŸ‘đŸ»

Currently I’m reading:

Heaven, Texas by Susan Elizabeth Phillips, book 2 in the Chicago Stars series, and a new author for me. So far I’m enjoying this outrageously tall tale.

Let me end off which a meme that shows why some folks should not be left unattended…

😂😉

Have a good one, girls. Let us know which spines you’re currently cracking. 📚
