Between the covers book club and Spanish chapter

Hello, lovely ladies 😉

Wow, August already, huh? C.R.A.Z.Y! Where does the time go?

Let’s kick off with a little something for the Spanish readers; awesome Kereny has treated us to another freshly translated chapter. Please find chapter 58 in the sidebar.

This post made me smile and though it’s not FSOG related, it’s right up our fairytale-genre alley.

What would the Disney Princes look like in real life? BuzzFeed shows us Jirka VÀÀtĂ€inen’s amazing fairytale Alpha’s likenesses…

Cute, isn’t it?

This week I read:

Release Me By Ann Marie Walker and Amy K. Rogers, book two in the Chasing Fire series, was just as good as the first one. Hudson is a delicious book boyfriend, and if you’re looking for something strongly reminiscent of FSOG then this is the read for you – and a well written one too. My only complaint was the very abrupt ending. Here’s hoping that we see book three shortly!

Smart, Sexy and Secretive by Tammy Falkner, book two in the Reed brothers series, was more of a long novella rather than a full book, and in that sense, a bit of a disappointment. The author formatted the book with double spacing which gives you all the pages of a full length book but half the words. It made me feel cheated. Also, though I like nothing better than a HEA, this one was so sugary it felt a little empty.

Bait by M Mabie, book one in the Wake series, was not my kind of read. The story may have ended up being a good one had I managed to finish it, but the incredibly shoddy editing let it down to a point of me abandoning the book.

Currently I’m reading:

One Night of Trouble by Elle Kennedy, book three in the After Hours series.

I’m not sure where I’m going next. If you have any inspiring reads up your sleeve then please share 😉

I absolutely LOVE all the FSOG cakes, and this one is no exception. You gotta’ admire the stunning detail!

Well…. it seems as though Henry was leading us all by the nose by neither confirming nor denying the rumours of him playing Jack, but he’s finally come clean and, at least to most of you, it will be a relief to learn that we won’t get to hate him as Hyde after all. This is what The Stir had to say about him breaking Fifty Shades-fan hearts all over the word.

Again from The Stir, Charlie Hunnam gives us a tiny insight into why he left the Fifty Shades cast.

Then, here’s something for you to do on a rainy day; an adult Fifty Shades of Grey coloring book! Check it out on Kickstarter.

All these little tidbits are from the 50 Shades of Grey Support Facebook page and the Laters, Baby site Heart

This Week I read:

rev  ttt

Revived by Samantha Towle, book two in the Revved series, was okay. It started out great, had all the ingredients for a knock-out story, but the ending let the book down. A very anticlimactic wind-down to a would-be explosive read.

Tall, Tatted and Tempting by Tammy Falkner, book one in the Reed Brothers series, on the other hand, was outstanding! This one goes straight onto my favorites shelf. Logan is AWESOME!! And thank you, Kereny for the great recommendation!

Currently I’m reading:

Release Me by Ann Marie Walker and Amy K. Rogers, book two in the Chasing Fire series. I’ll review fully with next week’s book club but I maintain my stance from last week – very much like Fifty is many ways, but well worth the read.

On my shelf I have:

Smart, Sexy and Secretive by Tammy Falkner, book two in the Reed Brothers series.
